Night Lights Gallery welcomes you to view pages and leave  your comments.  This is a view of the Harbor at Mirbat, Oman.
Photography by j.n.sara.n.dipity@gmail.com  aka jmnight@gmail.com of Oman, Land of Frankincense.
Dawn breaking along the mountains on the outskirts of Mirbat.
The Harbor at Sur, Oman. The  design of the dhow is still just as functional today as it was in ancient times.

Al Baleed Archeological Park in Salalah, Oman, where the Frankincense Museum is located. These posts held up a bridge for a moat in the once mighty Citadel of a Sultan. This site has been found to date back to the Iron Age and was once a bustling major township along the Frankincense route adjacent to the Indian Ocean. Due to accretion, it is now set back from it.

The magnificent Pink Palace in Jaidpur, known as the Pink City, India

Interior view from the plaza of the Pink Palace in Jaidpur, India.
Mosaic tiles from the time of the Moghul Emperors and the Raj's, Jaidpur, India. Notice the tile portrait of the Raj at the point of the archway.
First, this palace was built; then the lake was created to limit access to it in addition to the wall and the watchtowers facing all four sides; east, west, north and south.
Walled city outside of Jaidpur where friendly and sweet elephants will take you to the Hindu Shrine at the top of the enclosure. My elephant's name was Rosie.

The two countries shown to you are the most recently visited ones. My photography  and collage work encompasses additional countries to those shown here.
